About Find My Degree Program

What we do

Find My Degree Program is an education matching and information service. People come to us with a rough idea of what they want to study and a set of real constraints: a budget, a work schedule, existing credits, a state licensing board. We publish plain guides on the parts of the process that trip people up, and we connect visitors who ask to be connected with accredited schools and programs that fit what they told us.

We are not a school. We do not award degrees, grant credit, or make admissions decisions. Enrollment, tuition, transfer credit, and financial aid are decided by the institution, not by us.

How we make money

Schools and education partners pay us when we introduce a prospective student who has asked to be contacted. That is the whole model, and we say so plainly because it explains what we can and cannot be objective about. Our published guides carry no such arrangement: the accreditation, financial aid, and transfer credit articles point you to federal databases and school registrars precisely so you can verify claims without us.

What we ask of you, and what we do with it

If you fill in one of our forms, we collect your name, contact details, and what you are interested in studying. We share that with the schools and partners you asked to hear from. We do not sell your phone number to unrelated marketers, and every message we send can be stopped by replying STOP. Our Privacy Policy sets out the full detail, and our Terms of Use govern use of the site.

Editorial standards

Every guide we publish is written to be checkable. Where a rule comes from a federal agency, an accreditor, or a state board, we say so and tell you where to look it up. We do not publish rankings, because a ranking cannot know your budget, your transcript, or your state. We correct errors when they are pointed out. If you find one, write to us.
